For three years I have been searching for the right place to buy a retirement “sunny refuge” in the United States of America. My Belize plan has been abandoned, along with consideration of any of the “Ricos”. The “Islands” are too rich for my pocketbook. Europe? Why show up just for the sunset? Australia might be best, but that is permanent. Anyway, USA here I come.

Back to the election results. I can strike California and Nevada off my list. Jerry (fucking) Brown? Nancy Pelosi? Are you serious? Harry Reid? Lord help us all…..

I will be heading for Arizona or Texas or New Mexico. Maybe Florida.
