Hello! I’d like you to meet Islam – Canadian version

Recent events in Canada have brought my favorite Ayn Rand quote closer and more meaningful – “You can ignore reality but you can’t ignore the consequences of reality“. The “radical Islamic movement” or whatever poppycock label you have swallowed which describes these savages has arrived at our party and won’t stop until we’re over. That, of course, isn’t our agenda. Do we have the stones to do what we have to do? Instead of linking to episodes of Walking Dead, here’s an opportunity to learn. Brigitte Gabriel is Lebanese and has a story to tell. Her story is not unique. What is unique is that she lived through hell and is able to tell her story.

Islam sided with the Nazi’s in World War II. The Crusades have a bad rap. The Crusades were a response to barbaric Islamic invasion and persecution of Christians at the time. Long ago and far away…… Just saying.

Some of you folks who take the time to read my rantings have cautioned me to not lump all Muslims together under the “bad boy” category. You say that you have met decent Muslim folks or their children. You say the majority are like us – interested in raising their families and earning a living. The majority is not the issue. Winter Whispers

This is the time of the year my weather acuteness is set at 11 on a dial that goes to 10. The leaves turning, the innocent frosty dew on a cool morning, dead cats flattened on the road, catching flies in mid-flight, – all speak of the onset of weather, winter weather. Being a being of action (in my mind….) I realized years ago that if you can’t beat them, join them is a shitty homily that only a soulless immoral unethical would laugh at (cynically) before cheating on a math test. I’ve lived with winter most of my years (all 65 of them in Canada). It stresses me. How to unstress? Humor! This rant has lots of cartoons, quite a few of which are not politically correct. I picked ’em. So sue me……

Automotive update

A warning for all the GM and Chevrolet lovers reading this rant. The following is a paid announcement. My friend Dustin asked me to resuscitate his ’55 Chev 43 series one ton. I said yes, and today (Sunday) I rolled it off the trailer. Quite carefully, for the master cylinder doesn’t work. She’s cherry, a little bit rough, and completely stock excepting the wheels and tires. 235 cu. in. inline six (ooo-la-la!) and a crash-box. Starter button on the floor. Brake and clutch levers through the floor. All metal dash and doors. No power anything. No seat belts…… Them were the days. Without further teasing, some Chevy porn for the crazy bastards that like them –

The current situation in Canadian provinces concerning conceal carry or open carry is dismal. Thanks to the “religion of peace” (it keeps on giving) there may be a change in the future. We can only hope.

In a gunfight, the most important rule is ….. HAVE A GUN!!!

These are shooting tips from various Concealed Carry Instructors.
If you own a gun, you will appreciate these rules…If not, get one, learn how to use it and learn the rules.

REMEMBER… You can’t protect yourself and your family with your hands and your mouth!!!
RULES:
A : Guns have only two enemies: rust and politicians.
B : It’s always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
C : Cops carry guns to protect themselves, not you.
D : Never let someone or something that threatens you, get within an arm’s length.

Never say “I’ve got a gun.” If you need to use deadly force, the first sound they should hear is the click of the safety.

F : Average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes; the response time of a .45 is 1000 feet per second.
