Joe and I are not Mahatma Gandhi fans. Even a broken clock is correct twice a day (unless it is a 24 hour clock…..)
Political Commentary o’ the Week
Pat Condell tells the world what is happening in Europe – it is an invasion, plain and simple:
The clash of cultures continues. Is there a civil end in sight? How far down the cultural toilet will behavior sink before the danger for women is recognized as real? Ask Robert Zimmerman – he cloaked the question with a whiny nasal folk song totally in tune with this absolute bull shit from the middle east. How many voices have to be raised for sanity to prevail?
Quote o’ the Week
For the second time in as many years, I find myself quoting Vladimir Putin. Really. Joe is shaking his head. He just read and heard about the wave of trash from the middle east flooding Europe, raping women and generally carrying on like complete arrogant ungrateful cultural throwbacks. Here’s a quote of Putin from his address at the U.N., as he talks about the total melt-down. Barack Obambi supported regime change in Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia, Lybia, and Syria, –
“Instead of the triumph of democracy and progress, we got violence, poverty and social disaster — and nobody cares a bit about human rights, including the right to life. I cannot help asking those who have forced that situation: Do you realize what you have done?” _Vladimir Putin
You can watch his presentation here. Whether his statement is mockery or sincerity or premium bull shit, Joe and I are experiencing a painful peripatetic reaction. When the killer from the KGB is making more sense than the “Good Guys”, where, precisely, are we to stand?
Speech o’ the Week
Benjamin Netanyahu makes a lucid pro-Israeli appeal to the United Nations. A well crafted and logical rebuttal to the Iran nuclear deal with the United States. A slap in the face to U.N. crazies from “death to Israel” states. A gifted speaker. A gifted leader. A powerful plea to the states represented at the U.N. to come to their senses:
POLITICS, POLITICIANS, WACKJOBBERY, HUMOROUS, STUPID

WEATHER (OR NOT)
It has been chilly and partially cloudy most days. Today, Sunday, the sun came out, the temperature rose, the wind was still. If you closed your eyes, the warmth was reminiscent of early summer. However, the smells and colours of autumn are unmistakable. Eye candy, Vernon style –
