A very busy time for me. Summer!
Outside most of the time.
Not much Internet browsing.
No comment on the BC Supreme Court decision in favor of the Indian bands….. Except for this photo forwarded by Kevin R. of Christie Clark’s aircraft after a flight over the proposed Enbridge pipeline route –
No comment on the audacity of Hillarious Clinton. Really. None.
No comment about much.
I’ll save it for the nasty months when the sun don’t shine.
To those people who have sent me links and pictures, and articles, thanks so much! I have something to say about most of them, and will when summer slows down….. I’m a busy bee.
For the few hours I DID spend on the most amazing real time invention ever (the Internet) this week, a few notables I DID see…….
POLITICS, POLITICIANS, WACKJOBBERY, HUMOROUS, STUPID

Statism: concentration of economic controls and planning in the hands of a highly centralized government often extending to government ownership of industry.
In Ayn Rand Lexicon:
The political expression of altruism is collectivism or statism, which holds that man’s life and work belong to the state—to society, to the group, the gang, the race, the nation—and that the state may dispose of him in any way it pleases for the sake of whatever it deems to be its own tribal, collective good.
A statist system—whether of a communist, fascist, Nazi, socialist or “welfare” type—is based on the . . . government’s unlimited power, which means: on the rule of brute force. The differences among statist systems are only a matter of time and degree; the principle is the same. Under statism, the government is not a policeman, but a legalized criminal that holds the power to use physical force in any manner and for any purpose it pleases against legally disarmed, defenseless victims.
GUNS, GUNNERS, GUNNERY
THE RELIGION OF PEACE (ON US ALL)
The statistics speak for them all. Truly the “religion of peace” with ONLY 23,285 known deadly terror attacks since 9/11:
What a farce.
Sam Harris and Richard Dawkins at the pulpit to discuss “Who Says Science Has Nothing to Say About Morality?”:
WEATHER (OR NOT)
It is an unsettled weather year in Vernon. Still raining between sunshine and cloudy bouts. The grass is a foot long AGAIN. All in all mild and quite tolerable, but far from the summers of the ’70’s when the sun shone for months between rainfalls, and the temperatures often breached 100°F. Memory is a strange mistress…… I miss the heat.

Absolutely brilliant –
