Sunday Rant – 2413

[date Sun, Jun 16, 2013 at 1:59 PM]

Thanks to Jim E., I spent 3 days this week helping him drive a lovely 2007Freightliner reefer from Sacramento CA to Oyama BC. It was a lot of fun. Richie Bros. auction web site has become a favorite after seeing and driving what Jim bought. I’ve a need to sit on my hands………

Gotta get to Saskatchewan for this one! –

Saskatchewan (parts of it at a minimum) seems to have the right attitude. Vancouver has another approach – “Meatless Monday”. Apparently, this is not the voice of the people:

When your salary is elevated beyond your productive capability BUT protected or guaranteed, there be opportunity for the seeds of fantasy to sprout…… I think it damn near impossible for humans to stop telling other humans how to behave and how to perceive. If that be so, you really can’t persecute or prosecute a politician for their well meaning flights of fantasy inspired by a vision, or an inspiration, or by gas from eating raw asparagus. Some of the silly shits actually believe their attempts at “social engineering” are inspired and divine (as if they believed in God, or Dog (dyslexic), or Gaea). It must be nice to know so much better than everyone else – or anyone else for that matter……. Anyway, my laughter brought tears to my eyes when I read the comments following the above article.

As Kathy Shaidle of says, “You’re not smart enough to tell me how to live”. Amen (I bought the T shirt).

Terrorism and citizenship – Bill C425. Here is Minister Jason Kenney on the bill:!

Only problem I see with the issue is what do you do with the traitorous bastards after you strip them of their citizenship? We don’t have the death penalty. Ship them to a foreign country where they can live to terrorize again? Lock them up at taxpayer’s expense? Gotta read the bill…..

Thomas Sowell in his wonderful book “Basic Economics” reveals an interesting fact about statistics regarding the “poor”. He says that over time, very few of the “poor” individuals tallied today will be “poor” if measured in the future. That is because some of the “poor” who are measured are young, or starting a career, or have experienced a setback of some nature. The count of people permanently “poor” is a small number. When viewed as a statistic overall, it appears as a constant. I think that abolishing the minimum wage would be a good start in correcting the “plight” of the impoverished. Remember the words of Ron White: “You can’t fix stupid”.

Having said that, here is an oldie but goody from Andrew Klavan on Obamanomics 101:

Some aren’t as enamored of Mexico as others. As Ry Cooder says in his song, “Mexico is different, like the travel folder says” ( ). I used to like going there – warmer weather, cheaper living (that was a big plus – living like a larger if not big shot), almost good beer. Scratch that. Shitty but tolerable beer. Somewhere in my ramblings, somehow in my thinking, Mexico became a non destination for me. Here’s a perspective from Steve Sailer:

I found the comments most interesting. Corruption so rampant that it cripples everyone. That is NOT libertarian, nor is it natural law (natural order). For a country that is 90% Roman Catholic ( ) the behavior does NOT match the theory. What is the latest genetic mutation of advantage? Was it the cross breeding with Neanderthal? Was it Genghis Khan copulating his way into a 25% occupancy statistic in Asian DNA? Was it a violent solar storm radiating only a portion of the humans of the world? IQ matters. Whether you call it “G” factor, or “general intelligence”, or smarts, if you don’t got it everyone with more can tell. Maybe it has something to do with warm weather……. If so, Canada has a definite advantage!

From the “Hold de Mayo” files, a few beaner bashers –

[Making It cartoon 04/18/10: "Due Diligence"]

Viva Obama! you racist bastards:!

As Dr. D comments after one article –
I was born and raised in South Texas many years ago. I am well acquainted with wet backs. In answer to your question, “and on Cinco de Mayo, aren’t we all Mexicans?” the answer is absolutely not! I will never be a meskin, not on cinco de mayo or any other day.

We hear the endless stream of bleeding hearts crying out for the plight of the mestizos, but in actual fact, this is the nation they have made for themselves. It is their own (rotten) culture that drives it, their innate dishonesty, lack of integrity, disregard for education, addiction to alcohol and women and a fast peso that has made Mexico what it is. Sure, they will work very, very hard when there is no other alternative. But if they can find a way to cheat the system, there is no sense of righteousness that inhibits them from doing so, and they will break the law at every possible opportunity. You say that I sound harsh? I know them; I have worked with them and known them personally. They are not like Anglos at all.

I realize that we have plenty of Anglos who cheat also, but it is not fundamental to our culture as it is to the mestizo culture. That is the difference.

Rather harsh condemnation. We don’t need no stinkin’ badges….. When you shit your bed, shouldn’t YOU be the one who cleans it up? Those under 2 years old are exempt…….

The question: What role should women play in society?

The answer: the Captain says:

humorIf so, I’m not getting it…… unless God has nothing to do with religion………

The “religion of peace” is today’s topic. The Muslim community is racking up (no pun intended) an obscene record of debauchery, pedophilia, rape, and abuse in Britain. (And around the world, including their own crappy countries). A quote from an article about the subject titled “Sacrificing Our Daughters: On the Psychology of Muslim Rape-Gangs” –

In Great Britain, young white girls are being drugged, gang-raped, and tortured by Muslim men. These brutal attacks are occurring so frequently and in so many cities, it would be positively irrational not to look for a connection. So, why are Muslim rape-gangs targeting young British girls and treating them as if they’re worthless? Perhaps the answers are in the Qur’an. ( )

Today’s sermon is delivered by David Brown. He attempts to answer the question by searching the Qur’an and Muslim history for answers:

His explanation has logical merit if you believe a human being can be programmed to do morally obscene acts. No contest regarding the behavior, but is it “programmed”? When these sick animals look at the world, surely the conflict between what they see and what they have been “programmed” to see and believe is obvious. Or is it? When an 8 year old child can be brutally assaulted sexually as a rite of “marriage” by a man in his ’50’s, left to die, and no one dares notice or question, there is no civilization present ( ). Despicable. Here are some fatwahs regarding sex with infants and children from the beloved “religion of peace”: After all, the perfect man (may Allah be with you) married a 6 year old girl, and consummated his “marriage” when she was a 9 year old “woman”. Obscene. All cultures are NOT equivalent. When a 12 year old girl dies in childbirth and no one goes to jail (I’d prefer hanging for the perp) there is no civilization present. These differences must be discussed in the open…. Haven’t even breached the subjects of dhimmis, sharia, warfare, taqiyya, infidels.

Joe Mekanic says there are a few “religions” that have not been modernized (i.e. compartmentalized), principle of which is Islam. How long will the West accept the imbalance? How many lives will be sacrificed at the alter of multiculturalism and diversity for fear of offending people who feel they are superior based on their religious dogma? All “religion” is not the same. All “cultures” are not the same, equivalent, or just. The existence of a culture is not a valid argument for it’s continued existence, nor is it a logical foundation for it’s “justification”. A common argument from the progressive perspective is all cultures have their extreme advocates, which is a “straw man” argument at best. Check out the data at these websites: , Shades of the Chamberlain years in pre WWII England. Denial. Obfuscation. Confusion. Double-speak. And a refusal to confront evil in our presence. A refusal to define the conflict. Time for some “what’s good for the goose” action.

Now for some Sunday Sermon Funnies. Let’s poke some fun at the “civilized” religions, Joe Mekanic style –

So, is the argument for right and wrong like this –

Or more like this –

Or a blend? –

Own your life. Own your actions.

Closing prayer (with dialogue) delivered by Pat Condell:

“Californie is the place you aughta be, so they loaded up the truck and they moved to Beverly”

Didn’t get to Beverly Hills, did get to Sacramento. Disappointing that we missed the 109°F weather (week before) but it was warmer than the Okanagan. Love this continent! Here’s Jim’s new ride –

Notice the lovely California (or was it Oregon?) weather………….. Happy happy joy joy! I don’t think you’re happy enough!!!
