I learned a new word today. “Epigone”. Although I have the highest regard for myself, I do believe this word describes me to a “T”. The meaning is:
Word Origin & History
undistinguished scions of mighty ancestors, (sometimes in L. plural form epigoni ), from Gk. epigonoi , in classical use with reference to the sons of the Seven who warred against Thebes, pl. of epigonos born afterward from epi- + -gonos , from root of gignesthai to be born related to genos “race, birth, descent” (see genus).
