Sunday Rant – 3122

PN:

Joe’s Comment – This has been a fabulous week.  The weather was superb!
Hot, plenty cloudless, peaking in the ’90s every day…..
A great way to end July!
A few projects completed successfully.
A few not so.
Some other good stuff this week:
–  Elon Musk is terrifying the board at General Motors – he’s contemplating buying GM for $60 billion.  I love this guy!
–  Elon Musk has shot down Twitter just like Snoopy and the Red Baron.
–  I got my ’86 diesel dually running, and did a trip to Armstrong.  And back!
–  I started the ’50 Ford Fordor and moved it today for the first time in two years.
The rest of life this week is exemplified by the sloth strategy (above):
–  The cost of fuel, parts, food, and money keeps rising.
That idiot Turdeau is trying his best to piss off every class of mud pecker in Canada.  See QDMcD below.
–  Joe Biden and his criminal family are Teflon® coated – they could eat raw babies alive and the Media would point to Trump, or Putin, or stare dumbly at their shoes.
–  British Columbia is still advocating the vaccination of babies and children.  How much data does it take?
–  Tamara Lich is a heroine to me.  The Canadian Judicial system sucks dick.  Just what in the Hell does “peaceful protest” mean to the elite in Ottawa and the “halls of justice”?  Fuck Eastern Canada relentlessly.
So much for living in Canada, where the “Rule of Law” is just and paramount….
Or not.

Quick Dick McDick
This is the best QDMcD in some time.
Saskatchewan’s ambassador to the world weighs in on the latest hysteria from the idiots in Ottawa.
This video is about agriculture and business and land / production management.
It is also a political opinion.
As usual, QDMcD gets to the point, makes his case, provides data and examples, and by doing so, makes the noise from Ottawa sound like gibberish:

The arrogance of our political class has no boundary.
Joe and I wish these elected representatives would do what they were sent to Ottawa to do.
Global Warming is a trope disguised as license to control We The People.
So is the “war in Ukraine”.
So is gender identity.
For big “F” fuck sake, do your jobs and leave us mud peckers alone!
And you, Mr. McDick, keep doing what you are doing, ’cause you do it well.

Fritz Haber
The brouhaha about nitrogen fertilizer is  political crack-pottery.
Fertilizer is essential to supplement the lack of nutrients in over-farmed soil.
Fertilizer is essential to complement nutrients missing in soil.
Fertilizer is good.
Before the invention of chemically produced fertilizer the world was addicted to “guano”.  How addicted?  War over the control of guano islands is how addicted.  Four pounds of guano equal in value to one ounce of gold addicted.
Enter Fritz Haber, the inventor of the process that produces ammonium cheaply.
Ammonium is part of the nitrogen fertilizer cycle.
Fritz helped billions be fed.
Fritz also killed millions with poison gas.
If that ain’t enough to peak your interest, go fish!:

Patrick Moore Refresher
There are few Canadian heroes currently alive in the True North Strong and Free.
Dr. Patrick Moore is such a hero.
With his research and analysis, he has paved a path of sanity through the hog-wash that passes for “climate science”, whatever that might mean politically.
Joe observes that Ottawa has never invited Dr. Moore to come straighten them out.  I wonder why?:

Here is a TEDxVancouver  presentation from 2009.
He points out the geopolitical madness of Europe depending on Russian gas and oil.
He points out the frailty and economic disaster of “green” energy – wind and solar – while nuclear energy is boycotted.
He talks about the current energy balances (of 2009) – percentages of energy from nuclear, gas, oil, wood, hydro-electric, and green sources.
He forewarns the demand for electrical energy to power electric cars.
This was 13 years ago.
There are few “visionaries” whose vision(s) stand the test of time.
Dr. Moore is one of these rare and essential men:

This last refresher video is from a March, 2022 “Steamboat Institute” presentation.
The man is a rock solid scientist.  Canada should celebrate this man:

Tim Ball Refresher
Another Canadian hero.
Another warrior scientist.
The perspective professor Ball speaks from exposes the political machinations driving the climate / CO2 / green hysteria.
The following video is dated August 2019, but Joe and I know it is earlier.
During the presentation, Prof. Ball mentions the “hockey stick” / Michael Mann lawsuit being in the future.
Tim Ball won the suit against Mr. Mann in 2019.
No matter.
The information is a compliment to the words of Patrick Moore, exploring the political manifestations.  Another word that starts with “P” is Power:

Jordan Peterson
JBP is on a roll.
Joe and I think he is entering the political arena.
Or, he is simply critiquing the poor performance of the Liberal Party during the most recent cluster fuckery.
He predicts a decimation of the Canadian economy that will last 40 years.
Makes you kinda proud to be a “fringe minority” don’t it?:

Joe’s Garage

Dr. Thomas Seyfried
Anthony Chaffee interviews professor Thomas Seyfried.
Dr. Seyfried wrote a book titled “Cancer as a Metabolic Disease: On the Origin, Management, and Prevention of Cancer“.
This interview explores the good professor’s current understanding of the source of cancers (ancient genetic “memory”), and how current treatment misses the mark of curing cancers.
Once again, the excessive consumption of carbohydrates is identified as culpable:

The World’s Largest Organism
There seems to be a difference of definition about “organism”.
This first video is about a fungus named “Armillaria ostoyae”, or honey fungus.
DNA evidence turns up interesting facts, just the facts, ma’am:

But wait!
There is another contestant.
This video says the biggest organism is a tree.
Joe and I can’t prove otherwise.
Big mushroom.
Big tree.
Amazing DNA forensics:

Joe’s Comment – The future for me as a theoretical Libertarian might be more of a challenge than I am willing to accept.  These times might be as Plato insinuated, times of rule by evil men.
What did I do to stop the evil?
Minding my own business seems to have been a flawed life choice.
My ideological Weltanschauung can be summed up as an equation:

the last 5 of the 10 commandments + the Golden Rule + the Platinum Rule = harmonious existence

Perhaps my “live and let live” approach is antiquated, or incomplete.
The incidence of busy-bodying and tyrannical interference is on the rise.
As is complete lunacy from the so-called elites, governments, global NFPs (i.e., W.H.O., U.N.), mega corporations.
To correct this myopia of thought on my part, more speaking of my mind seems appropriate.
My reckoning is if you can’t brook what is happening it is time to be vocal about the problems, and more importantly, suggest solutions and remedies.
Seems like hard work…..
Where to start?
Why, at the beginning, of course – with personal reflection and review of foundational beliefs.
Then it is attitude that will rue the day and the path:

Quick Dick McDick
Saskatchewan’s ambassador to Canada and the world, QDMcD, shares some irritating details about maintenance issues that arise when using machinery in your work.
Of course, the color scheme used for the name of the “unmentioned” tractor company is purely coincidental.
Also of course, that contradicts the observation by Steve Bannon that “there are no conspiracies but there are also no coincidences”.
You be the judge!:

Dynamic Duo!
Jordan Peterson has formed an alliance with Ben Shapiro (Daily Wire).
Joe and I have our own understanding of what benefits will anoint both parties.
We’ve watched a few samples to date.
The following is a powerful example of the good work we hope they will do – bringing reason and light to the young men and women who have been abused by our culture:

AI, AI, OH!
The advance of artificial intelligence is brilliant, unique, and frightening:

COVID Musings

Neil Oliver
“They’re pretending like it never happened”.
A Scots with an opinion.
Joe and I agree.
The stupid bastards think what they did was a success.
The agenda is to wash (pretend it never happened) and repeat:

On a broader focus, Mr. Oliver expands his critique of the powers that be:

Weekly Music Musings

Puddles is the master of the “mash up”.
A couple tunes you know, with strange words!
An amazing J. Cash imitation:

Becerrillo – War Dog
Joe and I have never thought about dogs as weapons of war.
Boy, did we get an education.
The most storied of all is the dog Becerrillo, a warrior with the Spanish Conquistadores.  His name means “little bull”.
History has recorded that in one battle, Becerrillo killed 33 indigenous foes in 30 minutes.
The English Mastiff is a formidable warrior when trained as such:

XF-11
Howard Hughes was fishing for government funds.
He built a 6,000 horse power wood plane (D-5).
Joe and I wish these flights of fantasy were preserved for all to see (thank you Ms. E Thrasher):

Cancer Facts
Dr. Anthony Chaffee interviews Professor Thomas Seyfried.
Joe and I suspect that the connection between ill health and nutrition / diet will be an important focus of research.
Will the “research” be legitimate?
Big Money is always involved.
The “Proper Human Diet” is more like preventative medicine in our estimation:

Joe’s Comment – I searched 20 pages of Mr. Einstein’s quotes to find out what moron people do.  No luck.
This is an important distinction; I’ve gotta know.
Why?…..
Glad you asked –
Dumb?  I think not.  Moron?  I think so!
Dumb implies there is a chance of change with new information.
Moron literally has no idea, or how to have one.
I have to change a personal foundation belief.  All these many years I have insisted that anyone can make a reasonable choice if given facts and data pertinent to the situation.
I’m not so sure that is true anymore.
I didn’t include the morons, the twits, the idiots, the ideologues, the mentally challenged in my logical/rational calculus.
Recent history I have witnessed has shaken my beliefs to the core.
–  Two+ years of COVID full retard.  The very real chance that this coming flu season the dumb sons-a-bitches will double down and become more tyrannical, more draconian, more coercive.
–  The persistence of Justin Trudeau as a plausible Prime Minister.
–  Joe Biden degenerating weekly as the U.S. of A. flounders.  Rome burning anyone?
–  Inflation running amuck – fiat currency printing presses running 3 shifts – new trucks over $100,000 CDN – only if you pick the correct options of course…..
Albert Einstein’s quote is good as far as it goes, but I’ll add one more category of folks and their behavior.  It is only to complete the couplet, i.e., “weak vs strong”, intelligent vs ???  Here goes my best attempt –
Weak people revenge.
Strong people forgive.
Intelligent people ignore.
Moron people obliviate.
If you consult a dictionary the word “obliviate” doesn’t exist.
I coined it.
My definition for obliviate (a verb) is a state of thought where the past is incomprehensible, the present is confusing, the future is unpredictable: reality is terrifyingly frightening.  You know, pissing their panties while totally oblivious.
I feel slightly better now that is decided…..

Jordan Peterson and The Daily Wire
Last week an interesting collaboration was announced – Dr. Jordan Peterson has joined forces with Ben Shapiro’s “Daily Wire“.
Some fiery opinion pieces have already been released.
Dr. Peterson does not spare the rod.
Here is his opinion of doctors an psychologists who enable gender transformation in children.
Strong language warning:

If you think JP is treading on thin ice, take a few minutes to review the comments under the video.
The accused are silent.
Joe and I think the good doctor’s alliance with the Daily Wire crowd will further the distribution of his words and influence.
Good politics Dr. Peterson!
We speculate the Canadian political scene hasn’t heard the half of him yet……

Quick Dick McDick
QDMcD demonstrates a quasi-keto approach to nutrition in this short cooking lesson.
Saskatchewan’s ambassador to the world (and Canada) is always entertaining:

COVID Ad Nauseum

Ivor Cummins on COVID Phenomenon
Mr. Cummins has been analyzing data since the start of the ridiculous term “pandemic” was affixed to the flu season of 2019 – 2020.
He has been correct in his analysis from the get-go.
Joe and I yearn for a time when those responsible meet justice.
We hope that justice is pissed and committed.
Keep on investigating Mr. Cummins.
The truth bloody well out.
Joe is angrily anticipating our totally clueless government to laud their dismal performance as a success, and celebrate by doubling-down this flu season with more insanity, more stupidity, more misdirection, more tyranny.
Where are the rational folks when they are so desperately needed?
Questions for the Oracle, we think.
Unfortunate for us humans – Elvis has left the building, walking hand-in-hand with said Oracle:

–  Dr Shoemaker 12 minutes with Rebel News. Exceptional!

This Week’s Music Muse(s)

Joe’s Garage

Towmotor
Joe bought a forklift.
It was manufactured by the Towmotor Company between 1945 and 1951.
Model LT-48.
Our Massey Ferguson MF40 Industrial can lift 5,000 pounds with the front end loader, but our Massey Ferguson MF40 Industrial cannot lift our Model LT-48 Towmotor forklift.
It weighs in at 5,780 – 5980 pounds, depending on which boom it has.
We haven’t got it running yet, for it is propane fueled.
Today, Sunday, Garrett R. brought us a loaner fork lift propane tank.
Thanks Garrett!
Next week we shall attempt to make it function.
A picture of a restored example here –
Of course, ours is a shambles compared to this one.  Some music to celebrate:

1916 Galoway Stationary Engine
There is an argument that older machinery is better.
There is another argument that new machinery is better.
Joe and I like old machinery.
This old Galloway produces 16 horsepower.
Our four or five fathers made incredible devices to save labor:
