Sunday Rant – 5221

PN:

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Joe’s Comment – A good Christmas.
Rent paid.  Food in the pantry.  Furnace roaring.  Fire place radiating.  Christmas tree absolutely perfect this year – picked out by grandson Rourke – and the cat hasn’t knocked it down!  Lots of gifts.  Lots of snow (for the snow enthusiast).  Nobody sick.  Well, an upset stomach from too much of something or other.  Over in a day, and time for more of the hair of the dog.
All the grand kids and their parents healthy, happy, busy.
Enough $$$ stashed to make it another couple of months.
Life is very good.  So much to be thankful for and to celebrate.
Best wishes to everyone on this close-out week of the dread 2021.
Some years are diamonds; some years are stone (sentiment borrowed from John Denver).
I hope this final rant of 2021 finds you healthy, prosperous, safe, happy, and determined to conquer the trials and tribulations of the coming months.
Spring isn’t too far away: the days are getting longer!

Human Nature™
Joe and I are becoming fanboys of Elon Musk.
He is a true polymath, with a bonus sense of humor.
He sat down with the Babylon Bee for an interview!
Entertaining and informative:

COVID Info – Wheat vs Chaff

Lawsuits vs Real Time Lives
Joe and I are insignificant mud peckers.
We haven’t done much with our life, haven’t contributed greatly to the advancement of Civilization, of Humanity, of Right and Nobility and Honor.
We are also 72 years old.
But……
When a real live significant person who has contributed greatly in all the listed categories (and more!) has major concerns about the veracity of the government course of action, we bloody well listen.
Bret Weinstein interviews Dr. Peter McCullough, specifically discussing what an appropriate response to a “pandemic” would look like or should have looked like in the case of the dread COVID.
Mr. Weinstein begs to differ when Dr. McCullough states that “gross incompetence” is evident.  Mr. Weinstein insists that the correct term should be “nefarious”.
Dr. McCullough elaborates on the risk to young children and minors.  Spoiler alert – the incidence of myocardial problems in the young is historically 4 per million (under 50 years of age), or approximately 640 for the entire U.S. of A.  The CDC reported numbers since vaccination of the young started has leaped to over 11 thousand.  And the number as reported is very conservative (as much as an order of magnitude or more).
The major medical institutions of learning have done no research.
Very very few autopsies of ” death by COVID” corpses has been done.
Every government has crafted its own response – a sure sign that it isn’t about medicine.
A data rich interview worth the time:

One thing that concerns Joe and me is how many innocent children will be permanently or mortally damaged while the political wheels come off the bus?
And the medical profession grows some balls.
And the judiciary does its one and only job.
This isn’t the culture we want to be a part of, or to be a participant.
Any culture that sacrifices the young to prolong the elderly is rotten to the core.
It seems worse than sacrifice.

Damage from COVID “Vaccine”
The insanity continues.
Politicians making decisions for all of the people.
People who disagree are persecuted, prosecuted, punished.
The number of deaths per year of the human population remains more or less constant – 58,000 per day.
Scientists muzzled instead of invited to discuss their ideas and speak their concerns in a public forum.  Get two (or more) subject matter experts to debate two (or more) subject matter experts on the same subject with different perspectives.  WTF?
Isn’t that how to get it done?
The “MSM” – main stream media – totally in control of the message.  When Joe and I went to school (formally) the media was defined as the gadfly that challenges the policies and actions of those in positions of influence, and as such are given special privilege.  An old expression comes to mind – give ’em an inch and they’ll take a mile.  Who is taking the miles now?
There are so many “they’s” in today’s culture.
An article in LifeSiteNews, titled “The most detailed evidence yet of the devastating damage COVID jabs can do” is a good example of someone trying to provide food for thought.
Is it provocative?
Here is the first quote under the title –
The COVID jabs are the ‘most dangerous biological medicinal product rollout in human history’ said Dr. Peter McCullough.”
Seems like such a respected medical expert as Dr. Peter McCullough making such an astounding statement would be headline news everywhere.
But wait!
The next paragraph is not as terse, but equally pejorative in nature –
(The Conservative Woman) – Injecting millions of people with countless copies of a gene that instructs the body to produce a toxic protein might not seem very sensible. But it was hoped that this approach, the basis of the COVID vaccine, would help minimise damage caused by the protein – the ‘spike’ that the genetically engineered SARS-CoV-2 uses to invade our body cells – when we meet the actual virus.
Where is this information on the MSM, on their daily broadcasts over TV, radio, Internet, and that quaint but stalwart medium, newspaper?
Here is another medical expert, Andrew Kaufman.
Dr. Andrew Kaufman is a Medical Doctor, Psychiatrist and Molecular Biologist who received his training and degrees from Duke University, MIT and South Carolina Medical University. He says there are no such things as “viruses” and the “Coronavirus Global Pandemic” is a “manufactured event.”
Well?
What think you?:

Joe’s Garage

Extreme Engineering
Joe and I often yearn for a simpler time, albeit with a few caveats.
I.e., we’d love to be a “hunter gatherer” without the risk of starvation or dying by being trampled by a mastodon.
Also, we’d love to be an entrepreneur that risked blood and fortune without the spectre of failing miserably by creating an unwanted or unnecessary product or service.
Here’s another.
We’d love to have unfettered competition in all aspects of life without the risk of losing all means of survival.
A common theme in the above is risk.
Risk for most mud peckers devolves to “risk management” and “risk avoidance”, which is a different mind-set.
Risk management involves analysis of risks known and unknown, accepting a potential exposure position, then proceeding with the activity or involvement despite possible risks to success.
More succinctly, “nothing ventured, nothing gained”.
Risk avoidance is more “head in the sand”.  Risk avoidance prohibits any activity or involvement wherein the risks known and unknown might occur.
Risk avoidance is on the cowardice continuum.
A philosophical prelude to introduce an amazing yet common phenomena – smart and talented people, huge amounts of capital, leading edge technologies in a variety of fields, adventurous explorers in the “unknown” – all happens to create something no one person could ever produce.
This ain’t communism or socialism or capitalism.
It is cooperative humanism – folks working together to do what no one man can do (or woman if you must):

Craftsman Extraordinaire
Joe and I admire people whose skillsets are an order of magnitude above average, who can craft truly magnificent yet useful (is it art?) creations.
The Ub2b channel named “New Yorkshire Workshop” features the work of Russ Collinson, a master carpenter.
If you watch this video you will see a sheet of birch plywood turn into the beautiful plinth you see below.
Working with your hands is a most pleasing activity.
Mr. Collins produces practical pieces of Art©.
In our web search to discover his name, we found audiophile websites and woodworking websites that mentioned his work.
Some commenters thought they could produce the same level of quality and craftsmanship in their garages/workshops.
Joe and I say to those folks doG bless and good luck – all the power to you.
As a man who has worked with his hands for over 50 years, we’ll take the “full Missouri” on this one (Missouri is the “show me” state).
If you know any audiophiles, you know that thirteen thousand English pounds for a plinth and high-end (very high end) accoutrements is “fair dinkum” as the Aussies used to say.  Some commenters thought the plinth cost that amount.
Spoiler alert – the plinth is the cheapest part of this assembly.
Mr. Collinson is not a one trick pony.  His video on making a sawdust to wood pellet producing machine (makes briquettes) was how we got interested.
A true English craftsman (that island is infested with them!):

PN:

Joe’s Comment – There is wisdom in the words of others.  The Catch-22 is you must be smart enough to identify the wisdom, do some analysis, then reflect what the wisdom means in respect to your own life, your own situation.  I’ve got a bit of work to do…..

Eric Zemmour
The French are approaching an election cycle.
Joe and I saw this video from Mr. Zemmour, announcing his candidacy for the position of President.
We like his rhetoric.
We don’t think it is racist.
We side with Anne Coulter when she said as much: “When I travel to France, I want to see French people”.
Most of the world’s countries have a large population of people who think their culture is being decimated by political winds out of control.  Not all of these people are indigenous.
Breitbart famously said “Politics is downstream of culture”.
It seems the French “culture” is giving rise to political candidates that the Left just can’t tolerate.
Here is a Ub2b video of monsieur Zemmour declaring his intentions, with English subtitles for we who do not parler la française.  Better watch it now, for the powers that be may disappear this at the click of a mouse, or the touch of a finger.
As you can see below, the Wizards at Ub2b have already cast a spell on it:

Since when is reporting the facts “age-restricted”?
The Left-leaning Internet has its hair on fire.
Monsieur Zemmour’s political rallies are replete with violence, all delivered at no extra cost by the world’s conscience, Le Gauche, The Left, with all their screaming, ranting, slobbering hatred on display for all to see (thank you, Ms. E. Thrasher).
Here’s a short clip from The Telegraph, a British paper, that tries to lay out all the issues, including the status of Marie LePen and the Right’s interest in her.
It is an emotional battle, with the “soul of France” in question.  The comparisons to the Trump campaign are rampant:

COVID Tidbits

Dr. Peter McCullough
Over the course of the Sky Is Falling!!! COVID Pandemic Inc.® most folks like Joe and me, the Mud Peckers and Dirt People, we have been seeking some truth and some data and some facts.
Joe and I are big fans of Dr. Peter McCullough for that very reason.
MP’s and DP’s are closer to the go / no-go boundary – not by choice, but for inclination.  Fame and fortune are not prime directives in our planning calculus.
Our compass points at adventure and learning and self sufficiency – activity which seldom provides fortune and infrequently attracts fawning sycophants.
Joe and I have not worn a mask through this charade, nor will we start.
Not to stop a virus, because it just doesn’t work and jeopardizes your health.
We will not get vaccinated.  We are “pure-bloods” as the meme goes –
and we don’t mean Nazis propaganda style.
Alternatively, Joe and I are not fans of Joe Rogan.  For obvious reasons we shall keep to ourselves.
That doesn’t prevent us from tuning in to his podcast / interviews from time to time.  He does interview very special people from time to time.
On December 15th Joe Rogan interviewed Dr. Peter McCullough.
The interview is over 2 hours and is packed with COVID information.
Anyone who has followed the drama of COVID pandemic balderdash for the last two years knows that Dr. McCullough has been apolitical and totally focused on the well-being of patients.  He is guilty of seeking the truth, then broadcasting the truth.  He is a brave and courageous man.
There are Good Guys out there.  This man is a hero during the on-going COVID catastrophe.
We thank him, and wish him good fortune:

Note:  The above video, if you can actually view it, is on Rumble.  The first place we found it was on Vimeo, but within the day (Thursday/Friday) it had been removed.  Not crying “conspiracy!!!” here.  Just the facts.  There may be extenuating circumstances like lawyers, bureaucrats, judges, copyright law, lawyers, crony capitalists, Big Pharma, lawyers, sleazy politicians….. and filthy lucre plays an enormous role.  You get the idea.  There may be a very good reason it was removed from Vimeo and lasted less than a few hours on Ub2b.
Joe just snorted tea out his nose.
We would respectfully request that the IT Wizards stick to wizarding IT and leave off with the “molding society” interventionist efforts.
If Joe and I have learned anything in Life©, we have learned that the truth will out.
The truth outed by this video is Dr. Peter McCullough is an exemplary instance of a “Good Man” (yes, we said it, a man – and he’s white, too!).
He is also extremely humble, cooperative, learned, and well spoken, focused, capable.
In the words of Jordan Peterson, Dr. McCullough is a “Dangerous Man“.

Ivermectin
During the COVID insanity, some very effective and useful medications were available for prophylaxis and treatment.
The MSM (main stream media) and almost every governmental authority acted counter to the public interest by obfuscating the facts, not presenting the data, or outright lying about the efficacy of these medications.
Ivermectin was targeted: it became “illegal” to dispense Ivermectin to combat COVID.
How and why this happened will take years to unravel.  It is sufficient to note that there are good people who are dangerous paying attention to the problem.
Here is the story of Ivermectin (thanks Daniel J.):

Natural Immunity
There is a website named “TheDailySceptic”.
Their motto is “Question everything.  Stay sane.  Live free”.
Joe and I agree in principle – a motto to live by.
They recently published an article which claims another study has substantiated that natural immunity is superior to being “vaccinated” against COVID.
The article is here.
What does it mean?
It means those of us who have been exposed to the so called COVID  19 virus and have recovered without medical intervention (the use of ventilators, the denial of hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, budesonide et al.) are in no peril.
It also means that what we should have done (help the vulnerable, leave the rest be) is still not an option for most bureaucracies / governments / big pharma / “esteemed” health organizations.
It means that anxiety and fear along with isolation is a powerful psychological weapon, and that weapon was and is being used against “We The People”.
Joe and I feel the tide is turning.
We mourn the damage done to all the citizens of the Earth.
We grieve for the children.

Dr. Vladimir Zelenko
This brave man was swimming against the government dictates from the outset of the faux pandemic.
In no uncertain terms he identified the bad guys, condemned them, and fought hard and wisely to help COVID sufferers.  He devised a prophylaxis / treatment regime that is very effective.  He hasn’t spared the “officials” his condemnation.
The following video is a segment of the Dallas TX December 9 -11 “ReAwaken America Tour”.  Many powerful speakers making emotional and logical sense:

Dallas TX ReAwaken America Tour
The above segment with Dr. Zelenko was part of a three day conference.
Here is the entire conference.
It takes over 8 hours to watch the entire event.
Joe and I did!:

We are not much for overly zealous “Praise the Lord!” extravaganzas.
This one had Dr. Zelenko and Dr. McCullough as presenters.
We give them an “A” for effort, trying to get the truth and facts exposed.
Invoking the name of doG every second sentence is almost blaspheme in Joe’s mind.  Let sleeping doG’s lie…..
Here is Dr. Peter McCullough’s presentation on Day 2 of the same event:

COVID Inspired Humor
Both of these videos are on Ub2b.  Will they be there by the time Joe and I publish this rant on Sunday midnight?
Who knows but the Wizards at Ub2b.
Protecting the World™ is more difficult than they imagined:

A few comments and criticisms that caught our attention this week –

Joe’s Garage

Allen Millyard
Joe and I are gobsmacked by this incredible man.
He builds one-off motorcycles from damn near scratch.
His Ub2b channel is here.
This video is the first of seven that document the history of his replica Honda RC374 six cylinder racer build.
He has more talent using a hacksaw than Joe and I can muster any other way, by an order of magnitude.
Joe reckons Mr. Millyard’s biggest tool is his brain.
Next come his very talented “hands-on” skills.
Part 1:

The rest of the videos are at his Ub2b channel playlist here.
The man is a genius.

Joe’s Comment – Another week of lassitude – [ las-i-tood, -tyood ]
noun:
1.
weariness of body or mind from strain, oppressive climate, etc.; lack of energy; listlessness; languor: It was yet another day of extreme heat and lassitude.
2.
a condition of lazy indifference: Democracy is hard work, and demands that citizens not drift into lassitude.
I carefully read and re-read the Dictionary.com definitions.
They both apply.
Something about the steep climb to the Winter Solstice is burdensome for me every year.
I can’t say it gets worse with age, but the fact remains it is an annual affliction.
My life is a balance of outdoor physical activity and long bouts of reading, writing, and figuring….. you know.  Action and Reflection.
The inhospitable weather tends to unbalance the equation.
Too much reflection leads to other “r” word activities which produce no positive results.
Time to do some home renovations.
That always gives my mental engine a chore and my body something to do.
That just might make things even better around here.

Pearl Harbor
Well, well.
Joe and I have been around the Sun 72 times.
The attack on Pearl Harbor was December 7th, 1941.
Eight years before our birth.
There are very few living men and women who were there on that day.
Although Joe and I don’t watch television, we do subscribe to a large number of information sources, commenters, and polemics; all via the Internet.
This year we didn’t see or hear or view much in remembrance of the day that precipitated the U.S. of A. declaring war on Japan.
Joe and I have very mixed emotions about war.
By the end of World War II millions and millions of people were dead as a direct consequence of the conflict.  There are various estimates of the toll.  The War History website estimate is 62 million total – 37 million civilians and 25 million military personnel killed.
Civilians took a major shit kicking (a good argument for the 2nd Amendment).
What a stain on the species, on the Brotherhood of Mankind.
Back to Pearl Harbor.
The death toll from the Pearl Harbor attack is officially tabulated as 2,403 total, including 68 civilians.  A Gomer Pyle shitstorm delivered in a peace time setting:

As a boy, Joe and I were steeped in stories of Good vs Evil.
As we age we still have strong commitment to doing Good and opposing Evil.
We are not so strong in our commitment to any government or country.
Our commitment is stronger than ever to the belief of “inalienable rights”, of freedom of speech, of liberty, of private property, of a law directed participatory form of government, of the preeminence of the individual.  And the inherent natural right to self defense.
We take solace in the perspective advanced by Ayn Rand, that the individual is the smallest minority and all law must be written to that end.
War.  What is it good for?  Absolutely nothing! (Edwin Starr reference).
You would think that such an atrocity enjoined and committed by mankind less than 100 years ago would still be on the minds of everyone.
It is on our mind.

Random COVID Shitte

Sanity4Sweden
Stefan shows the entire list in this short video.
His list is growing – it is a compendium of doctors, scientists, regular Joes (Joettes too), and professionals who do NOT conform to the COVID talking points from the W.H.O., Big Pharma, and most government medical “officials”.
He is permanently banned from Ub2b – they finally understood what he was doing.
There are now 56 names on the list.
The tide is changing.
Or is it coming in?
No matter, We The People are paying attention:

Another from Stefan this week.
His annual list “Top 15 Dangerous Clown Idiot Political Leaders of the Year”.
Joe and I were curious where the clown prince of Canada would fall in the list, for his antics re: COVID have been dark and disturbing.
Chief Rainbow Socks (aka Castro’s Bastard Boy) came in 10th.
As Stefan states, it was a brutal competition this year:

Musical Interlude

Da Yoopers
What can we say?
Truth is, we can’t:

The Backwoods Boys
Once again, with passion only the deer huntering season can invoke:

Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride
Kelly Hogan is a bright spirit who has forged her own path of personal nutrition based on her poor health and the lackadaisical results she experienced from advice and direction of the “medical community”.  She has been solely carnivore for over 10 years.  Her before and after story is almost miraculous.  Her Ub2b channel is called “MyZeroCarbLife“.
Joe and I found the concepts and data very interesting in this interview with the author of “The GAPS Diet” books(here, here, here, here), Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBrideGAPS website.
Her perspective on early childhood nutrition opened our eyes wide:

Joe’s Garage

Hitler
The “Hitler Rants Parodies” channel on Ub2b is a hoot!
Joe and I like it for the pure asinine immaturity: it appeals to our 14 year old self.
Here’s Hitler & Co. struggling with a fuel crisis:
